With IPads, laptops and interactive whiteboards dominating our student classroom learning environments these days, it can often force us to take the more simplistic, yet necessary physical requirements such as a building, a desk and chairs for granted.

St Joey's Day Under a warm sun and blessed with a beautiful blue sky and rolling waves, St Joey's School community celebrated our Patron Saint - Joseph, with a liturgy by the beach at Brooms Head.

Many thanks to all the parents, teachers and students who joined in our Green Thumb initiative on Friday afternoon and really transformed our gardens with lots of weeding and much needed pruning. It was a great afternoon....

- Punctuation: Use a capital letter to start a sentence and a full stop at the end.

- adding two groups using counting materials
- naming regular 2 dimensional shapes

- identify horizontal, vertical & diagonal lines

- Grammar: Articles- use of a and an. Use an when the word it is in front of starts with a vowel eg an owl, an orange, an egg etc.
